About Us

For centuries our family has been dedicated to providing our customers with quality wine and specialty foods. Our signature Sicilian donkey cart is what our forbears used to deliver their products. They were farmers, fishermen, and merchants from Montelepre’, Terasini, Cefalu’, Termini, and Trabbia, in Sicily.

Our family began to emigrate to Michigan in the late 1800s. Today our fourth, fifth and sixth generations continue the traditions.

This store is owned by John Russo and his three oldest children: Gina, Mike, and Greg. Each has spent decades in the specialty food and wine industry.
